EVENT RECAP - New York Women in Communications High School Outreach Committee presents First Annual "Careers in Media Day" - Saturday, June 8, 2013 - LIM College

Note from the Founder of The FAB Network, J.Styles: I am ecstatic to announce that I am the new Co-Chair of High School Outreach, alongside Marcia Cole. This was my first event as Co-Chair and it was such an amazing experience. I love to see the light bulb go off in others. Knowledge is power. Saturday, some of the brightest and talented communications professionals shared their story with the goal of educating, inspiring and connecting with high school students (and some recent college grads and young professionals). The day was filled with panels, including: Magazines, Broadcast, Marketing and Public Relations. The various panel discussions, along with Keynote from Lola Ogunnaike (Contributor for Today Show and BET) provided a broad perspective of the communications industry.
