EVENT DETAILS:
Want to become a fashion stylist and set the trends everyone else follows? Then join us for our exclusive speaker series, Survival Secrets of Game Changers, and meet celebrity fashion stylist Rachel Johnson and Queen of Effortless Chic, Daisy Lewellyn! Rachel is revered for upgrading the style sense of today's biggest athletes—Amar'e Stoudemire, Chris Bosh, Serena Williams, Carmelo Anthony, not to mention Jay-Z—and counts Nike, Audemars Piguet and Coca Cola as some of her corporate clients. Widely known as the Queen of Effortless Chic, Daisy sprinkles her fashion sense and sensibilities on programs such as "The Nate Berkus Show," "Good Morning America," "The Rachel Ray Show," "Style Network, E!," and Martha Stewart Radio. She is the former Accessories Editor for Glamour and Essence magazines, and author of "Never Pay Retail Again: Shop Smart, Spend Less, And Look Your Best Ever." In this one-on-one discussion, Daisy and Rachel will discuss how they entered the fashion industry, what it really means to be a fashionista, how they carved out a niche for themselves, the mistakes they've made and the lessons they've learned along the way. And share how you too can become the next changer of the fashion game.

Event Recap: Samantha B. Fashion Show
Events Recap - Sammy B. by Samantha Black (New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter Collection 2011) - Helen Mills Event Space & Theater, NYC - February 13, 2011
The event was a Fashion Gallery serving as a "Designer's Premier". Six designers ripped the runway and FAB will feature its favorite collection - Sammy B. Samantha Black is a very talented designer with a keen eye for fashion that's sexy, classic and yet a bit edgy. Sounds like a difficult task to fuse the ideas together, but I'm starting to realize that nothing seems too hard for Samantha Black -- especially in the world of fashion. In Samantha Black's own words, "my inspiration for Fall-Winter 2011 Collection was to create clothing that women would feel powerful in. I chose fabrics with strong details that sends a message of being bold and confident."
