Event Recap - H&M + NYLON - H&M, Soho - October 20, 2010

The H&M and NYLON event was a celebration of the newly designed downtown H&m - Soho store. Fashionistas, corporate professionals, bloggers & photographers all came out to have fun and well, shop. In addition to witnessing all the trendy fashion statements, attendees were given VIP treatment as we all indulged ourselves with the complimentary h'dourves and cocktails (thanks SVEDKA). Oh and did I mention, guests received 25% off ALL purchases?! Just in case you're wondering - the event was definitely FAB!

EVENT RECAP - Crystal Wright's Packaging Your Portfolio Workshop - Makeup Forever Studios - October 17, 2010

Crystal Wright is the Founder of Crystal Wright Live - a platform to help makeup artists, hair stylists, fashion stylists and manicurists get work behind-the-scenes in print video film and television. Crystal came all the way from LA to host a 2-day intensive "mini MBA" style workshop to help stylists create a dream career in Print, Fashion & TV. Following Crystal's workshop, there was an expert panel consisting of Sam Fine, Eve Pearl & Oscar James. The industry leaders answered candid questions about the fashion, beauty and entertainment industry.

FAB was on the scene to capture the juicy details of how to pursue a successful career as a hairstylist, makeup artist and/or stylist.

EVENT RECAP - Hennessy Presents Artistry (The Art of Blending) - Canal Room, NYC - October 5, 2010

Hennessy Artistry presented a special night of MUSIC with the newest sensation to radio airwaves Miguel & Neo-Soul favorite Bilal, with special guests Donnis and Erin Christine. My FAB moment of the night was definitely Miguel singing his smash hit "All I Want Is You". I am literally obsessed with this song and was probably the loudest person cheering Miguel on, as I stood front and center watching him sing the ladies anthem. He even had a choreographed routine with the band, which was actually kinda sexy! This was my first time seeing Miguel perform, and I must admit, he did a great job! Kudos Miguel!

Erin Christine and Donnis were the special guests and opened up the evening. I was especially impressed with Erin Christine's voice and performance. She is dually talented - playing the keyboard and singing some gut-wrenching notes . . . the words were nice as well! I will have to youtube her. She's good!
