We’ll discuss techniques for making sure your resume gets to the right person, how to best highlight your past experiences, and why timeliness is your greatest asset. We’ll also cover how to maximize the potential of your job search with online resources, and how to translate college success to real-world skills an employer looks for.

We’ll answer your questions about the benefits of internships, how to use social media to your advantage, and how to establish a personal connection with a potential employer. Panelists will discuss different types of media opportunities, how to get your foot in the door, what you can do as alternatives until your dream job comes along, and what to expect once you're hired.

My new FAV song!

Have you heard the new Beyonce song "1+1"? It is awesome! You must buy the CD and listen to this song in particular! It's about love and all that mushy stuff! Just wanted to share a music jewel with you! I have it on REPEAT!!!!!

Just Wanted to Write to Say . . .

Writing is therapy for me. It's freedom. I thought I'd drop you a line to say that whatever your passion is, keep at it. You can do it! Whatever your dreams are for your life, don't give up. God has a plan for all of us and I truly believe He will lead us on the right path if we try hard to be obedient to His word. Don't get discouraged by the rocky terrain you may experience on your path. It's all a process . . . I am here with you fighting the great fight! Let's work hard, pray hard, go hard!

Happy 4th of July!

Event Recap - HBA Global - Jacob Javits Center, NYC - June 28-30th, 2011

HBA is an annual conference dedicated to the spa & resort and medical aesthetics convention and expo. On June 30th, FAB's Founder J. Styles was a featured speaker at HBA's FIRST-EVER "Career Advancement Day" at the Trend Spot Theater (Jacob Javits Center) discussing how to "Enhance Your Personal WOW Factor." It is very important to "exploit your skills and talents to achieve your goals." The speech focused on the intangible and tangible WOW factors that create a competitive edge over our peers! It is imperative that we think outside the box in order to advance our career! FAB is very grateful to HBA for the opportunity to partner on this very influential beauty trade show!
