Moderated by The FAB Network founder Jessica Styles, The Fashion Factor focused on giving students and fashionistas an inside look into the world of fashion and design.
Panelists included Ray’uana Aleyce, model and founder of Model Social Media LLC; Deidra Clark, assistant buyer at Lord & Taylor and founder, Getting Back To Me; Kristen Devine, Senior Account Executive at Tracy Reese; Laurel DeWitt, designer/founder of LaureLuxe Metal Couture; and Sonya Holley, CEO/founder of Trendcocktail.com and Sonya Holley Jewelry.
The group provided insight into what helped them achieve success, information they wished they knew before starting their career and reputable industry resources. Matthew Lillard: Kick Start Your Movie

Meet actor Matthew Lillard (of Scooby Doo fame), who made his directorial debut with indie film, Fat Kid Rules the World, winner of the 2012 SXSW Audience Award. Lillard based his movie on K.L. Going's award-winning novel about an alienated and lonely teenager who finds his purpose through the magic of punk rock. The film boasts solid performances and an original score by Pearl Jam's lead guitarist Mike McCready.

Lillard talks about how he made it happen on a tight budget, and his experience shooting in Seattle, where he encountered an "amazingly collaborative spirit."
