Chosen for her innovative marketing sense, strong management skills and proven talent as a business leader, Jane Lauder was named Global President/General Manager of the Origins and Ojon brands July 2010. Ms. Lauder brings with her a vast knowledge and highly successful track record from previous positions held at The Estée Lauder Companies, which she joined in 1996.“Origins is a brand I’ve admired since it debuted in 1990 as the first prestige beauty brand to combine the best of science and nature,” Ms. Lauder said. She looks forward to continuing Origins strong history of innovation to build and grow the brand globally.Ms. Lauder added the Ojon brand to her portfolio in March 2010. Her deep knowledge of sustainable product marketing and proven success with the turnaround of Origins ideally suits her to oversee both brands.“Ojon has a strong position in the hair care market, with a cult following and products that deliver results. I’ve been excited by the potential of this brand and its passionate founder, Denis Simioni, since it was acquired in 2007,” Ms. Lauder said.


Most recently, Ms. Lauder held the position of Senior Vice President, Global Marketing for Clinique since July 2006. In this role she was responsible for the brand’s overall strategic marketing and positioning, including developing products and expanding the brand into new channels and categories globally. Before joining Clinique, Ms. Lauder was Vice President of Marketing for BeautyBank, a role she took on in 2003. There she spearheaded the creation and launch of the skin care and cosmetics line, American Beauty, as well as Flirt!, the color cosmetics brand. Previously, she worked as Vice President of Marketing for the Stila brand from 2001 to 2003, and began her career at The Estée Lauder Companies with positions of increasing responsibility at Clinique.Known for her focus, creativity and entrepreneurial spirit, she is one of the industry’s most innovative and respected executives.


Ms. Lauder is the granddaughter of the Founding Chairman and namesake of The Estée Lauder Companies and has been working in the beauty industry for over a decade. Ms. Lauder holds a degree from Stanford University.
