CEW: Speed Networking (EARLY REGISTRATION)

If you're not a MASTER networker, this Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) networking session will definitely challenge you and keep you on your toes!

You will have 5 to 6 minutes (literally) to sell yourself . . . basic information you want to cover?! Here's a hint: Name, Current Job, Position, Goal of Attending Networking Session (i.e. to switch jobs, meet other professionals, would like to freelance on the side)

EVENT DETAILS:

CEW members will have the unprecedented opportunity to experience one-on-one six minute meetings with high-level women leaders of the industry. You'll also get the chance to network with your peers in the fields of marketing, product development, sales, public relations, and advertising over cocktails. Be sure to bring plenty of business cards!

Notes to Remember:

*Make your "WISH LIST" short and concise. The basic goal of speed networking is to make an impression, and FAST! If there are 50 to 60 people participating, how are you going to stand out?!

*Get your game plan together before attending. Are you going to wear that special pair of earrings, going to be extremely funny, extra outgoing, or just plain adorable . . . find your special niche and tap into it. Exploit your positive qualities and make it worth your while. Bottom Line: STAND OUT!!!

* Write a special note on EVERY business card that you receive (immediately after you have it in your hand!) This step is very critical. For example, lady with red hair and blue shirt OR really tall and slim OR lady that knows my mentor OR told me to email her on Wednesday. These little notes/reminders will be extremely helpful when you go home and realize your brain is fried from networking with about 50 unfamiliar faces.
