An Evening with Theresa Rebeck

Best-known as an accomplished playwright with a number of successful plays, both on and off-Broadway, Theresa Rebeck has also spent many years working in television for shows like NYPD Blue; Law & Order: Criminal Intent; and Smash, a series about Broadway theater that she created (exec produced by Steven Spielberg). She is also the author of two published novels: "Three Girls and Their Brother" and "Twelve Rooms with a View" (Random House).
 
Join us for an in-depth conversation when this talented and versatile winner of the Peabody Award, the PEN/Laura Pels Foundation Award, and the Edgar Award sits down with one of New York City's best known theater mavens.

Meet the Director: Sebastian Junger

Sebastian Junger screens his new documentary Which Way is the Front Line From Here: The Life and Time of Tim Hetherington. Junger is the author of best-sellers "War" and "The Perfect Storm" (also a movie, starring George Clooney). In 2010, he and photojournalist Tim Hetherington directed the Oscar-nominated film, Restrepo, a gripping chronicle of the war in Afghanistan.
 
One year later, Hetherington was killed in Libya, covering the Arab Spring uprisings. Join us for Junger's filmed tribute to his friend and co-director.
