  • Warby Parker, the American e-commerce company that sells prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses, opens its first brick-and-mortar store in SoHo
  • MUJI, the Japanese minimalist retail outlet, opens its fifth New York City store in Cooper Square
  • Happy Socks, the Swedish sock retailer, unveils its first U.S. concept store in SoHo
  • IRO, the French fashion label, opens its first U.S. outpost in SoHo
  • Scotch & Soda, the Amsterdam-based high-end men and women’s apparel company, opens its second NYC store near Union Square
  • Private Stock, the menswear label founded by Chinese-American entrepreneur Jon Koon, opens its first stand-alone store in SoHo
  • Gas Bijoux, the French fine costume jewelry brand, opens its third and largest U.S. store in Nolita
  • Canali, the Italian luxury menswear brand, opened a resplendent two-story flagship store, its second NYC location, in the Upper East Side
  • Rag & Bone, the clothing brand founded by British transplants Marcus Wainwright and David Neville, opens a General Store in the Meatpacking District
  • Pas de Calais, the high-end minimalist label of hybrid French and Japanese-inspired aesthetic, launches its U.S. flagship store in SoHo
