DURATION

January-May                           (SPRING SEMESTER)

    May-Aug                                 (SUMMER SEMESTER)

September-December              (FALL SEMESTER)

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Applicants should be motivated individuals with a special interest in news

Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university

Provide proof of enrollment

Available a minimum of three days per week (five days preferred)

Valid work permit

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct necessary research for stories

Review news wires and press releases for upcoming events

Monitor viewer tip line for story ideas

Assist reporters and assignment editors to complete daily packages for air

Confirm factual information to ensure accurate coverage

Facilitate the show’s production by contributing to the needs of producers

Responsible for accommodating guests
