TOP-Choice Models (TCM) debuts their top 22 model roster in a fashion show extravaganza, “The Choice is Yours,” featuring apparel by Ashley Michaelsen, Nacinimod, and Jesus Juice Coature at midtown’s chic Karma Sutra Lounge on November 19 at 9 p.m.
The Choice is Yours celebrates the launch of TOP-Choice Models with a showcase of up and coming designers featured during the Spring 2010 Fashion Week. Special guests and fashion industry leaders poised to attend the fashion forward black and white red carpet affair include Anvil Knitwear, Michather (photographer, Wilhelmina Models), Vladymir (stylist, Dana-Maxx Designs), Ruth Hunt (legendary model, entrepreneur and humanitarian), Christian Ruart (casting and production director), designers featured in Brooklyn Fashion Week and more!
SPECIAL INVITE:
Fashion's celebrated photographers, stylists, make-up artists, designers, journalists and tastemakers are invited to this premiere event.
MIX AND MINGLE:
Directly following the runway show, guests will mix and mingle to the sounds of DJ Roksikilla, of King Shiloh Supreme, set to rock more than 200 fashion enthusiasts at the after party.
WHO'S WHO AT EVENT:
Within just two months, TOP-Choice Models has been paving the way for model success, having booked models for celebrity hairstylist, April Barton, of Suite 303, Nolcha Fashion Week Spring 2010, award winning bridal designer Karen Sabag Spring 2010, Dana-Maxx, and Fabiola Arias. Most recently, models represented by TCM have appeared on the catwalk for Arrojo Studios, Intercoiffure Hair Show, and Harlem Fashion Realm. Notably, models Quincy Kingston, Aby Jammeh, Jason Medina worked with Edwing D’Angelo during Brooklyn Fashion week, alongside IMG Model Management models, and have appeared on The Real Housewives of New York City Bravo taping of the event, covered on October 12, 2009.
THE FOUNDER:
Syrah Scott, TCM’s CEO and founder, has more than seven years of experience cultivating profits for high-end labels, including BCBG Max Azria, Betsey Johnson and Kenneth Cole. With a focus on cultivating a brand of models that represent an ethnically diverse group of fresh talent, Syrah Scott founded TOP-Choice Models, LLC to reintroduce “top” image and “top” quality back into model management and booking. Having fine-tuned each model’s presentation, all TCM talent are available for immediate bookings for advertising campaigns, fashion shows, showroom/trade shows, TV/film, and special events. Scott graduated summa cum laude from the prestigious Miami International University of Art and Design, earning a degree in of fashion merchandising.
