Beauty Job Opening: Temptu Assistant Manager, Marketing & Development


TEMPTU, the leader in airbrush makeup technology and innovations, is seeking an Assistant Manager, Marketing & Development, to join our New York team. The candidate for the Assistant Manager position will be responsible for providing overall assistance for the TEMPTU Consumer Brand with limited, yet intermittent responsibilities related to the TEMPTU Pro Brand. Candidate will provide management, coordination and some administrative duties in all areas of the Marketing and Development process and provide the Brand Team with well-organized, accurate data.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Participate in Product Development in relation to: Responsible for coordinating and managing the development and plan of all direct sales events (ie QVC)

*Responsible for trafficking all creative artwork and developments

*Sourcing merchandising, samples, and new product development materials and packaging

*Sourcing and evaluating new formula and color submissions as needed

*Responsible for assembling and coordinating product testing with outside labs

*Helping to coordinate and manage product and informational focus groups and surveys

*Sourcing and evaluating competitive products as needed

*Make recommendation on new developments, line extensions and shade gaps

*Assist in developing processes and templates for NPD and seasonal product/promo programs- Participate in Marketing in relation to:

*Working in partnership with PR dept & web agency to assist in all social media outreach plans

*Weekly communication and management of web agency and online mktg programs

*Assist Marketing team in preparing strategic/tactical marketing and promotional plans

*Assist Marketing team with Advertising plan and advertising creative development

*Maintain marketing calendar, product launch calendar and retail calendar of eventso Assist team in preparing for retailer presentations and market week meetings

*Source, create and coordinate marketing materials by channel

*Helping coordinate and compile consumer and industry researcho Evaluate and keep abreast of competitive products and materials

*Assist in copywriting for training and marketing materialso Interface with all internal support groups (Creative, Operations/Purchasing, Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Trade/Pro Marketing, and Artisan Team) as well as external vendors (Ad Agency, Promotional houses, Packaging companies) as needed

Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:

*Minimum 3 - 4 years work experience with 2 years beauty industry experience required- Passion for social media strategy, planning and outreach required

*Familiarity working with QVC a plus

*Superior market research and analysis skills

*Very strong writing, organization and communication skills

*Ability to work independently, as well as part of an entrepreneurial team

*Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

*Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint and Excel

*Strong working knowledge of the Internet, Web 2.0 applications and online solutions required
