Description: PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT FOR INTIMATES
Overview: Provide daily support to Product Development Manager in sample and approval tracking, design turnover, cost compilation, and all aspects of tracking the development flow
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Maintain and monitor spreadsheets tracking all development in progress – identify issues and drive for solutions which will keep development on calendar
• Assist PD Manager in review of all tech packs prior to pass off to the overseas team
• Monitor Sales Sample tracking spreadsheets to ensure timely receipt for market
• Create and manage all packaging specs
• Maintain Bill of Materials for all styles in the Full Circle System
• Partner proactively with Design, Merchandising, and Sales to surface issues and provide support
• Work closely with the Product Development Manager to strategize, plan, and support all factory development and allocations seasonally with design
• Compile, input, update costing for integrity and review with manager
• Partner with manager to identify opportunities to drive and evolve business
• Support division’s growth strategies by providing speed to market opportunities
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Four year degree in fashion related discipline, preferably with product development focus.
• Two years working experience in a high end, fast paced, detail intensive sleepwear, intimates, or related apparel category
• Excellent communication, mathematical, and analytical skills. Commitment to being a proactive partner in the business
• Systems savvy in Excel, Illustrator, Product Life cycle Systems
