NEWS UPDATE - Cosmetic Executive Women (CEW) hosted its annual Beauty Demonstration last month and after combing through more than 550 new products from 300 top brands, beauty insiders have determined the top trends for this year. Value and innovation continue to resonate across all categories as the overarching theme for the following trends:
- Combination: Products that offer multiple benefits offer consumers more for their money
- Hair Stylist-Created Lines: In this year’s newly expanded hair categories, more stylists had brands in all categories, including color, care and styling
- Health/Wellness: Better-for-you products that go beyond beauty benefits are also top-of-mind for consumers
