About the Position: Carol's Daughter - Beauty by Nature has an opportunity for a Product Marketing Manager. In this role, he/she will be responsible for implementing and driving all marketing aspects around new product launches. The focus will be on category management for one of more of the following categories: hair care, skin care, body care, fragrance.

Experience Needed: Ideally candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop and manage launch strategies, including competitive analysis and market feasibility
* Create detailed time lines and manage all dates and deliverables for launches
* Forecast retail potential of new launches, as well as identifying cannibalized products and projected cannibalized factors
* Develop marketing initiatives/promotional calendar to support new product launches
* Collaborate with the creative team and vendors to identify and develop packaging
* Ensure legal requirements are met for new product names
* Initiate product and marketing copy needs and ensure consistency of message for particular launch
* Create and track budgets for all marketing expenses associated with launches
* Identify new product and promotional item opportunities within category
* Liaise with PR, E-Commerce, Merchandising and Sales Promotion on new product launches to ensure press and on-line efforts are in line with brand positioning
* Coordinate with operations to have insight into inventory and sku management within the categories
* Attend all Product-to-Market meetings and come prepared to discuss your projects and time lines
* Continue to develop structure and process within product marketing role
* Facilitate needs for special initiatives with our retail partners relating to categories managed
* Conduct post-mortem evaluations for all programs/launches

Job Requirements


* Minimum 5 years experience in product marketing, preferably in beauty with a specific focus on hair care
* Highly analytical with the ability to gather, dissect and evaluate large amounts of information make recommendations to management
* Innate project management skills with a high attention to detail
* Process-oriented
* Must be creative and innovative, and be able to articulate thoughts and ideas clearly
* Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Confident public speaking skills
* Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate with all levels of management, and perform effectively as a team player
* Must be a self-starter and eager to learn through hands-on experience
* Needs to be highly organized and able to prioritize effectively
* Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a dynamic and undefined environment
